Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- NOC: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Night rotation
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact RN license
- Minimum 18 months of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required before start
- ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with IV insertion and electronic charting systems
Scope of Practice
You'll provide direct care to laboring patients, assist with delivery, manage fetal monitoring, and support postpartum patients. This is a clinically active role with exposure to the full spectrum of L&D cases.
Flexibility & Float
Willingness to float to other departments across the facility system as clinical needs arise. Float assignments will be monitored and department-based.
