Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced PCU nurse for a 13-week travel contract. This is a night shift role in a progressive care setting where you'll provide direct patient care to step-down and intermediate-acuity patients.
Shift & Schedule
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Monday–Sunday availability expected
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of PCU experience required
- Current RN license (state-specific)
- BLS certification
What You'll Do
Work with patients transitioning from intensive care or those requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments. You'll manage telemetry, medication administration, wound care, and patient education in a structured, supportive unit environment.
