Cardiovascular Operating Room Tech
Position Overview
Join the OR team at the facility in Atlanta, GA as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician. This is a 13-week contract assignment beginning December 7, 2026.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Call: 48–60 hours every 4-week period; weekend call is required
- Float: May be called to support the General OR as needed
- On-Call Rooms: Two rooms available for staff use during call periods
- Relocation: Must relocate within a 50-mile radius; local travelers are not accepted
Qualifications
- Current CVOR Tech certification (or equivalent)
- State of Georgia education verification or national certification required
- Experience in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and/or robotic-assisted procedures is preferred
About the Role
You'll provide technical support in a busy cardiovascular operating room, assisting with cardiac cases, vascular procedures, and related surgical interventions. The facility values a collaborative team environment and works with staff to manage call scheduling fairly, including opportunities for early dismissal when appropriate.
Start Dates
Positions are available to start any Monday during the contract period.
