Radiation Therapist – Radiation Oncology
Position Overview
The facility's Radiation Oncology department is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment. You'll deliver cutting-edge cancer treatments in a dedicated, specialty-focused environment with no floating to other departments.
Shift & Schedule
- (5) 8-hour or (4) 10-hour shifts, days only
- No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- ARRT registered Radiation Therapist (WV state license required)
- Demonstrated expertise in IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT
- Experience with Varian equipment (TrueBeam linear accelerator and/or ARIA Oncology Information System)
Clinical Scope
You'll manage approximately 50 patients daily across multiple machines, with 6–9 CT simulation patients per day. The patient population includes adult and pediatric cases (minimal pediatric volume). Department equipment includes Varian Trilogy and TrueBeam linear accelerators.
