CVOR Technologist — Travel Contract

Hays, KS | Day Shift | 4x10s (07:00–17:00) | 13-Week Contract

This role supports a cardiovascular operating room team, working alongside a dedicated heart team in a fast-paced surgical environment. The position involves rotating weekday and weekend call shared with the existing team.

Shift & Schedule

• Four 10-hour day shifts; 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotating call coverage — weekdays and weekends
• Expect to work some holidays
• No block scheduling of more than three to four shifts
• Float may be required to cover other units when short-staffed

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 45 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Travel experience required

Compliance & Onboarding

• Negative 13-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Must be available to report to the lab within 24 hours of signing
• Time-off requests must be pre-approved and documented before the assignment begins; minimal RTO preferred, especially during the first two weeks
• Two pre-approved days off allowed

This is a hands-on cardiovascular surgical role suited for an experienced CVOR Tech who is comfortable with call responsibilities and a collaborative team environment.
