Operating Room RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts in a full-service OR supporting a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, vascular, thoracic, gynecology, ENT, urology, and plastics procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 3x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Call: One shift per week (7:00 PM – 11:00 PM); may extend based on unit needs
- Schedule: Monday–Friday; scheduling preferences considered but not guaranteed
- Holiday Commitment: Must work at least 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years OR nursing experience required
- Licenses & Certifications: Current state RN license (compact license required at submission), ACLS, BLS
- Charting System: Electronic health record experience required
- Float Capability: May be required to float to nearby sister facilities; refusal may result in assignment termination
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
