Labor & Delivery RN — Travel Contract | Mission Hills, CA
Shift: Days | 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start: ASAP
About the Unit
This Labor & Delivery position is based at a Magnet-designated acute care facility. The unit serves adult and neonatal patient populations and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including Respiratory Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and Phlebotomy.
Candidates should have experience at a facility performing a high volume of deliveries and must be comfortable circulating for cesarean sections in the OR setting.
Schedule & Float
- Day shifts, no weekend requirement
- Float between like units may be required; refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours
- 24-hour orientation
- Candidates must commit to working at least 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Advanced AWHONN
- LA City Fire Card
- Active California RN license (compact license must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
