Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a busy operating room. You'll assist surgeons in planning and preparing procedures, sterilize surgical equipment, and assemble case carts for both scheduled and emergency surgeries.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift (6:30 AM–3:00 PM)
- On-Call: 2–3 days per week, including every other weekend
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Location Requirement: Must reside at least 100 miles away
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in Vascular, Orthopedic, and Breast surgical procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Laparoscopic hiatal hernia procedures
- Endovascular procedures
- Breast oncology procedures
- Minimum 2 years in an operating room setting
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- NBSTSA Certification (CST)
- BLS Certification
- Strong communication skills
