Operating Room Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic surgical team serving adult and geriatric patients. You will work across a diverse range of surgical specialties in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Clinical Scope
You'll support General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant procedures. Common cases include appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, carotid procedures, AV fistula repair, femoral-popliteal bypass, and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. Experience with trauma surgical cases is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Strong background in General OR, Total Joint, Neuro, Vascular, and General Surgery
- BLS and TNCC certifications
- Valid Pennsylvania RN license
- Charge nurse experience preferred
Schedule & Flexibility
- 40 hours per week
- Approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations required
- Float within OR based on facility needs
- No regular weekend shift requirement
Contract Details
- 13 weeks
- Start: November 30, 2026
- Facility provides scrubs
- Local candidates welcome (50-mile radius)
