NICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate NICU Registered Nurse to join the neonatal intensive care team on night shift. You'll provide specialized care to critically ill and premature infants, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- RN license (current and active)
- PALS and NRP certifications required
- Current flu vaccination (required; religious and medical exemptions not accepted)
- Nicotine testing and drug screening (no exceptions)
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- Ability to make up missed shifts
- One holiday rotation assignment based on facility need
- Nicotine-free facility
What You'll Do
Deliver direct patient care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. Your scope includes assessments, medication administration, feeding support, family education, and collaboration with physicians and specialists to optimize outcomes for your smallest and most vulnerable patients.
