Medical-Surgical RN | Glendale, CA | Day Shift

This 13-week contract placement is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical unit at an acute care facility in Glendale, California. The position begins November 9, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36–48 hours per week
• 3–4 shifts per week

Role Overview

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient group, supervising and directing multi-level nursing staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, outcome evaluation, patient and family education, and discharge planning.

Float capability is required — candidates must be able to flex between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Acute care charting system experience required (must be proficient in the facility's electronic health record)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Telemetry experience beneficial given float expectations

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks (91 days)
