ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to join the intensive care unit for a 13-week assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment, managing high-acuity patients requiring advanced nursing skills and clinical judgment.

Requirements

• 18 months of ICU experience minimum
• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Float Expectations: May float to ED, Observation, and Medical/Surgical units as needed

Clinical Environment

You'll work in the facility's ICU managing critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. The role demands strong assessment skills, ability to respond quickly to patient changes, and effective communication with an interprofessional care team.
