About the Role
The facility's pharmacy department is seeking a night shift pharmacist to provide clinical and operational support for adult and pediatric patients. You'll work as part of a small, focused night team, sharing the patient workload evenly with one other pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Medication order verification and clinical consultation
- Lab value review and interpretation
- Antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
- Collaboration with nursing and physician teams on medication-related questions
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current inpatient pharmacist experience with adult patients
- Active pharmacist license
- BLS certification preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced pharmacy training (residency, board certification)
- Prior experience with integrated pharmacy systems
