Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing patients with telemetry monitoring needs across the medical and surgical populations.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating 4x12-hour shifts: Days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
- Mandatory holiday coverage: work at least every other holiday
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: November 20, 2026
Float Expectations
You may float to related units to care for similar patient populations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- Current, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Active certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- One professional reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from past 12 months)
Orientation & Assessments
During orientation, you will complete:
- ECG rhythm recognition test
- SafeMedicate assessment
- Passing scores are required (maximum 2 attempts)
Compliance Requirements
- BCI/FBI background clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Background check review by facility; no open cases accepted
- Clean license history required
