Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You will provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and managing a diverse med-surg population.

Shift & Schedule

• 4x12-Hour Rotating: Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) or Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will honor preferred scheduling when possible
• At least every other holiday must be worked
• Start date: November 20, 2026

Float Assignments

You may float to other units as needed to care for similar patient populations, expanding your clinical experience across the facility.

Requirements

• 12 months permanent experience in Med-Surg Telemetry (or related specialty)
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license (in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director required (from past 12 months)
• Acceptable performance on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)

What to Expect

During orientation, you'll complete competency assessments and training modules. The facility values experienced clinicians who can work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
