Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in Cleveland, Ohio. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced med/surg telemetry unit, managing patients across the care continuum with a focus on cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating 4x12-hour shifts: Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will work to honor your preference but reserves the right to adjust scheduling as necessary
• Mandatory holiday coverage: minimum every other holiday
• Start Date: November 20, 2026

Floating & Coverage

You may float to adjacent units as needed to care for similar patient populations. Be prepared for flexibility in assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent nursing experience in medical-surgical telemetry
• Current, active RN license: Ohio or compact state (must be in hand at submission)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Supervisor or manager reference from specialty assignment in the past 12 months

Clinical Requirements

• ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate competency evaluation during orientation; acceptable scores required
• Background check clearance (no open cases); license verification required
• BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available).
