Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll provide care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing acute care patients across a range of diagnoses.

Shift & Schedule

• 4x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 | Night: 19:00–07:30)
• Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs; the facility will work to honor your preference when possible
• Weekend and holiday work required (minimum every other holiday)
• Potential to float to other units serving similar patient populations

Requirements

• Current, active RN license (Ohio or Compact State)
• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
• Active AHA/American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Manager/supervisor reference from the past 12 months (required for qualification)
• Willingness to complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation (acceptable score required)

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• 91 guaranteed hours
• All scheduling and RTO details must be confirmed at time of submission and cannot be modified after an offer is presented

This is a straightforward clinical role for an experienced telemetry nurse ready to contribute to a busy acute care environment.
