Position Overview

The facility's Imaging Department is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract position. This is a day-shift role with no call, no weekends, and no holidays — ideal for clinicians seeking schedule predictability.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT or ARDMS current
• Current BLS certification
• Continuing Medical Education (CME) compliance
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemption considered with physician documentation; masking required while on hospital grounds during flu season)

Clinical Responsibilities

You'll perform a full range of ultrasound examinations independently, including:

• General, abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial studies
• Evaluate diagnostic findings and communicate results to referring physicians and radiologists
• General diagnostic radiology procedures
• Equipment troubleshooting and coordination with service engineers

Additional Duties

• Maintain patient safety and well-being in the Imaging Department
• Cross-train into other imaging modalities as needed
• Organize daily schedules and manage patient scheduling
• Establish collaborative relationships with patients and the healthcare team
• Follow departmental procedures consistently
