Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/IR RN for a 26-week contract in Augusta, GA. This is a Monday–Friday day shift role with minimal on-call responsibilities.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- On-call: After-hours availability as needed (low callback volume)
- Guaranteed: 40 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Clinical Role
You'll provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiac patients in a busy cath lab setting. The unit handles approximately 3 STEMIs per month and performs a variety of interventional cardiac procedures. You'll work alongside 5 full-time RCIS technicians and collaborate with a small, experienced nursing team.
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous cath lab or interventional radiology nursing experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment
Unit Details
- 2 cardiac labs with 5 patient bays
- Supportive staffing model with unit secretaries and tech support
- On-call expectations are manageable with minimal callbacks
