Med/Surg Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a day shift position. You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, monitoring patients with diverse diagnoses and acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 3x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at submission)
• Permanent Ohio license or current Compact state license
• One professional reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from past 12 months)

Clinical Role

You'll care for medical-surgical patients on telemetry monitoring, work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in patient care assessments and procedures. You'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.

Facility Requirements

• Background check and license verification must be clear
• Pre-start and annual competency modules required
• Two attempts permitted to pass orientation assessments; failure to pass results in contract cancellation
• Nicotine-free requirement applies (nurses exempt)
