Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), caring for patients on telemetry monitoring in a med/surg unit.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (active and in hand)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from work in the past 12 months
• Willingness to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores required; maximum two attempts)

Vaccinations

COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions available.

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing the acute care needs of medical and surgical patients. Orientation will include competency-based training and facility-specific modules.

• Day shift, three 12-hour shifts weekly

Additional Notes

Candidates with prior Cleveland Clinic system experience must observe a one-year break from their previous end date before returning. Extensions are available up to 18 months.
