Telemetry RN — Night Shift | La Jolla, CA | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is on a telemetry unit in La Jolla, CA. The position involves caring for a diverse patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and stepdown-level observation.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Available start dates: 11/16, 11/30, or 12/14
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle required
• At least one holiday shift required, including the holiday weekend

Float Requirements

Telemetry RNs may be required to float at or below skillset to like units or lower-acuity units across multiple campuses within the health system. The ED is excluded from float assignments.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• AHA BLS (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Active California RN license in hand at time of submission (Temp or Perm; no EMSA)

Qualifications

• 2+ years of concurrent telemetry experience
• Recent electronic health record experience within the last 6 months of work history
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must not reside within 100 miles of the facility (candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months are considered local and ineligible)
• Maximum 7 days RTO; no new RTO requests after submission
• 1 supervisory-level reference required

• Non-billable online learning modules may be assigned and must be completed by the Friday following the assigned due date
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
