Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the clinical team on a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts per week (7 AM – 7 PM).
Key Responsibilities
- Interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and accurately document treatments in medical records
- Administer respiratory therapies including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments
Required Qualifications
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program and passage of certification exam
Physical & Technical Requirements
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Occasional bending, stooping, or stretching
- Lift up to 20 pounds
- Strong eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional early or late meetings
