Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Travel Contract

Easley, SC | Days | 13-Week Contract

This Med-Surg Telemetry unit cares for an adult patient population with a clinical focus that includes cardiac telemetry monitoring, CVA management, post-surgical care, total joint replacement recovery, and ER holding. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour day shifts, 07:00–19:30
• Every other weekend required; may vary based on unit need
• Floating to other units or campuses is required based on census

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active South Carolina RN license

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience with an electronic health record system
• Blood product administration
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Remote telemetry monitoring
• Surgical drains management

Preferred Skills

• Cardiac telemetry
• ER holding experience

Additional Details

• Orientation: 24 hours (begins Mondays)
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• Candidates must meet the facility's distance eligibility requirements to qualify for this assignment
