Interventional Radiology Technologist
The Opportunity
Join the interventional radiology department at the facility in Utica, NY as a Radiologic Technologist. You'll support a high-volume IR suite performing diagnostic and interventional procedures on adult patients (18+), working alongside radiologists and nursing staff in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: Four 10-hour days, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–3:00 PM core hours)
- On-Call: Yes — call responsibilities from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend call rotation every fourth weekend (may increase based on staffing needs)
- Contract Duration: 11 weeks
- Location: Utica, NY (75-mile radius; local candidates welcome)
Qualifications
- Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State radiologic technology license (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- ARRT certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year experience; 2 years preferred
Clinical Details
You'll work in cases with 3–4 staff members per procedure (combination of technologists and RNs), supporting interventional techniques involving heparin-infused saline drips. Float availability to the OR and endoscopy suite for C-arm procedures is expected.
