Orthopedics – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the orthopedics unit at the facility in Asheville, NC for a 13-week contract. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Unit
The facility's orthopedics department provides comprehensive care for patients across the surgical and medical orthopedic spectrum. You'll support pre- and post-operative patients, manage acute orthopedic injuries, and work alongside a collaborative team of surgeons, nurses, and therapists focused on optimal patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a busy orthopedic setting
- Assist with post-surgical recovery and pain management
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (or applicable healthcare credential for the specialty)
- Strong night shift availability and flexibility
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
