Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Surgical Telemetry Nurse for a complex surgical unit. You'll provide direct patient care to post-operative and surgical patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a fast-paced, clinically demanding environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Days: 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Georgia license or active compact license
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry experience
• Strong surgical nursing skills and knowledge
• Ability to manage high-acuity post-surgical patients

Preferred

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems

What You'll Do

You'll monitor and assess surgical patients, manage telemetry systems, administer medications and treatments, coordinate with the surgical team, and respond quickly to patient changes. This role demands strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
