Women's Health / OBGYN Clinic – Ambulatory RN
Position Overview
The facility's Women's Health / OBGYN clinic is seeking an experienced ambulatory RN to join the team immediately. You'll work in a fast-paced environment providing direct patient care and clinical support to women across the lifespan, with a focus on high-risk pregnancy management.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 5 days per week
- 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
Core Responsibilities
- Manage up to 3 Non-Stress Test (NST) patients simultaneously
- Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound Procedures (DVP) *training provided onsite*
- Conduct OB intake, , and pregnancy assessments
- Assist with moderate sedation procedures
- Perform pelvic exams, blood glucose monitoring, and venipuncture
- Handle patient calls, in-basket management, and appointment scheduling
- Provide care for high-risk pregnant women across all trimesters
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
- AWONN Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Minimum 4 years nursing experience
- Strong L&D and ambulatory care background
- BSN preferred
Additional Information
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- 24-hour orientation provided
- Onsite DVP ultrasound certification training (included during orientation)
- Will float within the facility as needed
- Valid California license required at time of submittal
