Women's Health / OBGYN Clinic – RN

Position Overview

The facility's busy Women's Health clinic is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift role in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You'll work directly with high-risk pregnant patients, managing NST clinics, , and pregnancy assessments in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 5×8-hour shifts (08:30–17:00)
• 13-week contract
• Candidates will float within the facility as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and manage up to 3 Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) simultaneously; strong L&D background essential
• Conduct OB intake, , and pregnancy assessments for high-risk patients
• Handle procedure clinics with moderate sedation (IV and oral)
• Manage patient calls and in-basket communications
• Perform DVPs (Doppler Venous ultrasound) if certified
• Blood glucose monitoring, pelvic exams, and patient teaching

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Minimum 4 years of OB/GYN or L&D experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• AWONN Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Proficiency with NST/DVP assessment
• Knowledge of high-risk OB protocols and ectopic pregnancy management
• BSN preferred

• 24 hours of onboarding orientation provided
• Onsite DVP ultrasound certification training available; employee covers training costs
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Community hospital experience required
• 75-mile radius; supervisor references preferred
