Outpatient RN – Orthopedic & Pain Management Clinic

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift outpatient clinic role supporting patients with orthopedic, spinal, and pain management needs. This is a 13-week contract beginning November 16, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Weekends: Not required
• Floating: Yes, flexibility across clinic areas required
• On-Call: No
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated

Requirements

• California RN License (active and in hand at time of submission; no pending or temporary licenses)
• 2+ years of recent outpatient or ambulatory clinic experience
• BLS certification
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions or declinations)
• Two supervisor-level references from employment within the past 12 months

Clinical Scope

You'll work in a busy ambulatory setting seeing approximately 150 patients daily across 54 rooms. Patient populations include infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics presenting with spinal disorders, foot/ankle disorders, pain management, and rehabilitation needs.

Core Skills

• Vital signs, venipuncture, pain assessment
• Dressing changes and suture removal
• Patient teaching and health history
• AED/CPR and cardiac arrest response
• Universal precautions and infection control

• Maximum 2 weeks unpaid time off; none permitted in first 2 weeks of assignment
• Previous permanent employees: 24-month separation required before eligibility
