Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll join the team providing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical nursing on a fast-paced unit.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• 12 months permanent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (required)
• Active Ohio or compact state RN license (in hand at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and current)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (references from assignments within the past 12 months)

Compliance & Pre-Employment

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required
• Background check and fingerprinting (BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (passing score required; two attempts maximum)

Additional Information

• Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter (subject to facility approval)
• Annual hands-on competency and orientation modules required for continued contracts
