Interventional Radiologic Technologist – 26-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join a busy IR department. You'll work independently in procedure rooms, manage on-call responsibilities for trauma cases, and provide weekend and day-shift coverage as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour days, 4 days per week
- 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (not including on-call time)
- Weekend and on-call coverage required
- Weekly orientation (Mondays, except holidays)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and circulator duties in IR procedures
- Work independently during thrombectomy cases (PE/stroke interventions)
- Assist with angiographic procedures including TIPS, angioplasty, and embolizations
- Respond to on-call trauma activations independently
- Support a high-acuity interventional radiology environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years IR experience
- ARRT certification in both CT and IR
- Radiology MA License
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge
- Scrub and circulator experience
- BLS certification
- Strong equipment knowledge

- Note: Candidates separated from this facility for fewer than 6 months are not eligible
