Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 26-week contract assignment. You'll work 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week, with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.
Required Credentials & Experience
- CT ARRT and IR ARRT certifications
- MA Radiology License and RT ART registration
- Minimum 2 years interventional radiology experience
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology
Clinical Scope
You'll work independently in IR procedure rooms, supporting a range of interventional cases including:
- Thrombectomy procedures (PE and stroke)
- Angiography and angioplasty
- TIPS procedures
- Trauma cases
Responsibilities include scrub and circulator duties, with extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices required.
Schedule & On-Call
- Day shift, Monday–Thursday (10-hour shifts)
- Weekend coverage required
- On-call availability required for trauma cases
- Orientation begins every Monday (excluding holidays)
Important Notes
- Candidates must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months prior to application
- No float requirement
