Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for night shift coverage. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment, managing a diverse patient population across all acuity levels.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Hours: 48 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current Massachusetts RN license (required at submission)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must remain valid through contract end)
Key Details
- Guaranteed 48 hours weekly
- Call-out policy: Unplanned absences (non-emergency) must be made up to meet guaranteed hours. Habitual call-outs or attendance policy violations may result in immediate contract termination.
What We're Looking For
A self-directed, compassionate nurse comfortable with the intensity of emergency medicine. You'll work independently and as part of a collaborative team, triaging patients and providing acute care across all ED presentations.
