Medical/Surgical Telemetry — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide care to patients on telemetry monitoring, managing a range of post-operative and medical diagnoses in a fast-paced unit environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference (manager, supervisor, or director) from work in the past 12 months

Facility Expectations

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts to pass)
• Annual hands-on competency training required for continuous contracts
• Pre-start orientation modules (6–15 hours; 4 hours paid)
• Background check review; no open cases or license issues accepted

Contract Details

• Extensions available up to 18 months (6-month break required thereafter)
• Guaranteed hours included
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Notes

Charge experience is preferred. Background clearance and drug screening must be completed within required timeframes.
