Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract. You'll work 3–4 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) caring for post-operative and acute care patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Valid Ohio or compact state RN license (in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• One manager/supervisor reference from the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

What You'll Do

Deliver direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing post-surgical recovery, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. You'll maintain accurate documentation and respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Facility Requirements

• Onboarding includes ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments (two attempts to pass)
• Completion of facility-required orientation modules (average 6–15 hours)
• Background check and fingerprints required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Nicotine-free drug screen (10-panel + cotinine) required

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment beginning November 13, 2026
• Night schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required after
