Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at time of submission)
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director (from the past 12 months)
• Clean background check; no open cases
• Passing scores on ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• Background clearance completed within 48 hours of contract signing

What to Expect

During orientation, you'll complete facility-required modules (average 6–15 hours) and competency assessments. If you extend beyond one continuous year or return in a subsequent year, annual hands-on competency training will be required.
