Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic Technologist – Cath Lab
About the Role
You'll perform cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and assist with interventional cardiovascular procedures. This is a hands-on role operating sophisticated imaging equipment to produce high-quality digital images that guide physicians in real-time diagnosis and treatment. You'll position patients, manage contrast studies, and provide direct clinical support during catheterizations and specialized vascular interventions.
What You'll Do
- Operate advanced diagnostic imaging equipment for contrast-enhanced cardiac and vascular radiographs
- Assist physicians during active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab
- Position and immobilize patients following established protocols
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills
- Contribute to hiring and promotion decisions
What We're Looking For
- Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California
- ARRT certification (preferred)
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years recent cath lab or special procedures experience
- PVMB, TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI certification required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
Schedule & Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Call: Every other weekend + 2 weeknights per week
- Location: Montebello, CA
