Surgical Circulator – CVOR
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Surgical Circulator for its Cardiothoracic Operating Room. This is a 91-week contract offering 40 guaranteed hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour days with varied start times
- Call required: 1–2 weeknights per week
- Weekend call approximately once monthly (Friday end of shift through 6:30 am Monday)
- Shift options include 8-hour (6:30 am–3:00 pm), 10-hour, and 12-hour formats; mid-shift starts at 9:00 am or 10:45 am
- Every other weekend covered by call
Clinical Scope
Requirements & Support
- BLS Certification and COVID vaccination required
- One-shift preceptor-led orientation
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Reporting structure: Clinical Supervisor, OR Director, and OR Manager
- Hospital cancellation policy: up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
