Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced ED nurse for a 12-hour day shift assignment. You'll work in a Level 3/4 ED environment, managing acute and emergent patients with strong clinical acuity.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 ED experience
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
- Must pass a Telemetry Competency Test on Day 1 (84% or higher required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Preferred Experience
- Previous travel nursing assignments
- Critical care background
