Cardiac & Vascular OR Nurse

Position Overview

Join the OR team for a 13-week assignment providing perioperative care for cardiac and vascular surgical patients. You'll support a high-acuity surgical program with emphasis on endovascular and interventional procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 10-hour AM shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Every Monday start date
• Call required: 48–60 hours per 4-week period
• Weekend call participation required
• On-call rooms available; early release offered when possible

Clinical Scope

You'll work with patients undergoing complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases. Experience with neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotic-assisted procedures is preferred. You may float to the General OR as needed.

Float & Travel

• Expected to float between multiple locations with typically one day's notice for scheduled cases
• 50-mile radius assignment
• On-call duties remain at your primary booked location

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact nursing license
• Strong endovascular experience
• OR nursing experience with cardiac/vascular cases
• Comfort with floating and multi-campus assignments
