Certified Surgical Tech – Cardiac OR
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Tech to join the Cardiac OR team for a 13-week contract beginning December 7, 2026.
Schedule & Hours
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
- Weekday shifts: 5 AM–11 AM or 11 PM–7 AM
- Weekend/holiday shifts: 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per week (not required to be consecutive)
- 70+ hours per four-week period on average
- Holiday rotation required, including weekends surrounding holidays
Requirements
- 2+ years of CVOR surgical tech experience
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
Responsibilities
- Provide first-assist support in cardiac OR procedures
- Float to General OR as needed
- Maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
- Collaborate with cardiac surgical teams in a fast-paced environment
