Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Lodi, CA
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care on a mixed medical-surgical/telemetry unit, supervising and directing nursing staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This position requires solid telemetry experience and the ability to manage patients across both general medical-surgical and cardiac monitoring needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor telemetry and manage patients with cardiac conditions
- Supervise and delegate appropriately to nursing team members
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure safe, compassionate patient care
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and uphold professional standards
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Strong telemetry experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- CPR certification required
- BSN preferred
Schedule
Night shift; 36–48 hours per week guaranteed.
