This contract Emergency Department RN position is based in Simi Valley, CA — a suburban Southern California community close to both Los Angeles and the Pacific Coast.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Contract length: 84 weeks (with a 12-week initial placement)
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Clinical Scope

You'll deliver coordinated nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, managing patients across a broad acuity range. Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, patient and family education, and participating in discharge planning. The role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to supervise and delegate to various levels of nursing staff.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• BLS (from approved vendor)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ED/acute care experience required
• BSN preferred
• Electronic health record proficiency required
