Travel RN – PACU | Evening Shift

Position Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Location: Englewood, CO
• Duration: 13 weeks (seasonal)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Unit

You'll work in a busy post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) with high patient volume and clinical diversity. The unit manages recovery for patients across multiple surgical specialties, with particular strength in neuro and stroke cases. You'll float between different PACU areas, gaining exposure to spine, general, GI, colorectal, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotic-assisted surgeries, plus interventional radiology and TAVR procedures. Critical care overflow patients are also part of the mix.

Patient Care

• Patient ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients (up to 3 for same-day surgery cases)
• Staffed to ASPAN standards
• Pre-op assessment and post-anesthesia recovery for all surgical patients

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience (required)
• Current PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Preferred: stroke care or critical care background
• Flexible, outgoing personality; strong team player
