Labor & Delivery RN — Travel Contract
Boston, MA | 13-Week Assignment
This Labor & Delivery unit is a high-volume, active department managing a broad range of obstetric patients, including high-risk cases. The unit includes dedicated labor rooms, operating and recovery rooms, and rooms.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, day/night rotation (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 recent years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- OR circulator experience required (CNM experience will not be considered)
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Must pass a telemetry competency test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
- Previous travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience
- High-risk obstetrics
Required Certifications
- BLS (copies required)
- NRP — all lessons completed; must not expire during the assignment
- Completion of an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course (AWHONN preferred)
Preferred Certifications
- Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation Course
Additional Details
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be placed at a local rate
