Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced nurse for its intermediate care unit, which blends IMCU, neurology, and medical-surgical patients. You'll care for high-acuity individuals including those on chronic ventilators, with tracheostomies, and managing complex heart failure.
Shift & Schedule
12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, every other holiday
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year IMCU experience
- 2+ years recent medical-surgical and telemetry experience
- Neuro care, MI management, and tracheostomy care
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Proficiency with automated medication dispensing systems
- Telemetry competency test on day 1
