Labor & Delivery RN – Night Shift | Wichita, KS | 13-Week Contract
This travel RN opportunity is in a busy Labor & Delivery and Women's Health unit serving a diverse clinical population. Night shift runs 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Start date is November 16, 2026.
Unit Overview
The unit manages a broad scope of obstetric and gynecological care, including:
- High-risk pregnancies (PPROM, preeclampsia, placenta previa, preterm labor)
- Fetal monitoring (NSTs) and continuous OB monitoring
- Post-operative gynecological and urogynecological surgeries
- GYN oncology post-op care
- Women's health med-surg
- Postpartum care, including readmitted and NICU-adjacent mothers
- Ectopic pregnancy management
Night shift is staffed with a charge nurse and 2–3 RNs.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications
- Ability to manage a varied, high-acuity women's health patient population
Preferred Experience
- OB, med-surg, or GYN background is a plus
