Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 24-week contract working night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 days per week on a 12-hour schedule. You'll provide direct respiratory care to a diverse patient population while collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RRT
- Active NBRC certification and BLS (required at time of application)
- Valid Ohio RRT license
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director from assignments in the past 12 months
Position Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour; weekends as needed
- Float: May float to facility locations as needed
- Smoke-Free Environment: Nicotine-free required—no exceptions
Compliance & Screening
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start; updated annually
- BCI/FBI background prints required within 48 hours of contract signing
- Annual hands-on competency modules required for ongoing assignments
- All scheduling requests and time-off preferences must be discussed during submission and interview
