Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Rockport, TX

This is a long-term night shift opportunity in a freestanding emergency department serving a coastal Texas community. The contract runs 91 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of emergency presentations across all acuity levels. Nurses work within a collaborative team environment handling both ambulatory and acute patients. FSED experience is required for this role.

Common Procedures

• IV insertion and blood draw
• EKG interpretation
• Foley catheter placement
• Orthopedic splint application
• Wound care
• Respiratory support (BiPAP, ventilator, nebulizer)

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Requirements

• Prior FSED/freestanding emergency department experience is mandatory — candidates without this background will not be considered
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to manage 3–4 patients per nurse
